Yes, the express check-up and 3D scan are free, and there’s no obligation to book anything afterwards. The ‘catch’, if you like, is that we think once you’ve seen your own teeth in 3D and had a proper conversation with a dentist, you’ll want to keep seeing us. But that’s your call. Full terms are below.

An express check-up is a 20-minute screening: a dentist looks at your teeth, gums and 3D scan and tells you what they can see. A comprehensive examination usually takes longer and includes X-rays, a detailed gum assessment and a full treatment plan. The express visit is a good first look, not a replacement for a full exam.

No. X-rays aren’t part of the Open Day visit. If your dentist thinks X-rays would help, they’ll explain why and you can book a comprehensive examination if you’d like to go ahead.

No. Open Week is a check-up and scan only. If you’d like a professional clean we can book one for you, and we’ll tell you the fee before you book.

No. You’ll leave with a summary of what we found. If we recommend anything, we’ll explain it and give you a written estimate so you can think about it. Nobody will ask you to sign up to anything on the day.

The iTero is a small handheld wand that takes thousands of images of your teeth and stitches them into a 3D model in a few minutes. It doesn’t touch your gums in any uncomfortable way and there are no putty moulds. Most people find it interesting to watch.

No. The scanner uses light, not X-rays, so there’s no radiation involved.

Using your scan, our software can generate an illustration of how your teeth could look if they were aligned with Invisalign. It’s a simulation for discussion, not a promise of a result — any real treatment would need a proper assessment first, and outcomes vary from person to person. You can skip this part if you’re not interested.

Only if you’re happy for us to. Photos of your teeth help us show you what we’re seeing and are kept in your clinical record. We’ll never use your photos in marketing without your separate written permission.

There’s nothing to claim — the visit is free and no item numbers are charged to you, your health fund or Medicare.

Open Day is for adults and young people aged 16 and over living or working near our clinics. Under-18s need a parent or guardian present.

Of course. Bring a friend or partner, and if they’d like a spot too, book one for them — each person needs their own booking.

Plan for about 25 minutes including check-in. Please arrive five minutes early so we can keep the day running on time for everyone.

A lot of people tell us it is. There’s no treatment, nothing sharp, and you’re in control of what you look at and what you ask. Tell the team you’re nervous when you arrive and they’ll take it at your pace.

Bookings are by time slot rather than by dentist. Each clinic will have a small team working on the day and you’ll be introduced when you arrive.
